Default A little birdie just told me....

I will go for the OBX Pulleys on Next December.... The Belts are pretty cheap.... There are a lot of belts in any auto parts... it will not be difficult to find the correct one.... Beside of that, those seller said that they use the OEM belts.... this pulleys are the same side with less weight...

If you have an RD1 then the OBX pulleys will work for you. If you have an RD2 they wont. This was covered in a previous thread. But it is due to the power steering pulley. On the RD1's it is a push on with no spline. On the RD2's it has a spline on it. The OBX pulleys do NOT have a spline on them.

I've got great news about the Jspeed series.

I contacted David again and he's been in touch with Jspeed. Seems that Jspeed changed their entire lineup to Beta 2's and didn't tell anyone, so now we have an adapter piece that you can put on and still use the pulleys with your Beta 1.

I will make sure I make a big stink about it when I get them.

yes, they will be free.

I got a UD Pulley from Boers Performance that were talked about online at newtiburon etc.. and its ment for a beta 2 but fit my beta 1 fine. I took the old ac belt and used that as my wp,crank,ps belt and it squeels for a split second when motor first turns over and then thats it and i mean literally a split second chirp. for the crank pulley belt just go to the autoparts store and ask a for a belt thats 1 size down form the stock ac belt size.

as for the ac belt size i have no clue cause i dont have mine on right now running no ac lol. but in the end you will be able to get around on the old ac belt as your crank belt till you get to the autoparts store. or be like me and just live with the split second chirp at startup. ha
