Any input would be appreciated. I've called a few local shops around here to find out how much it would cost someone to swap out one intake manifold to another. I mean everything fuel rail, mounting bracket, injectors, throttle body, cables, the whole works. Just imagine the stock intake manifold is cracked or something. No mine is not cracked just doing research. Being that its cracked and broke, now I'm to install another stock intake manifold but have to pull everything off the old one and install it on the new one. Let me know what you would think the time and trouble is worth to do the job. I can do this swap myself no problem, but just asking and need to cover my butt. Like I said I called a few shops and they are looking to charge to do the swap out two hundred dollars, and thats the average.

It's should be the same idea...

Edit:

Well... It will depends on how much would the shop charge per hr but... i think it'll be about 2 hours of work

No its not that I don't know how to do it, its a matter of how much I should charge someone for me to do the work. Now which do you mean is it a half day work or 2hrs work, because 2hrs is by far a half a days work. I've pulled my IM off with the engine out of the car so I'm sure its going to be a bit harder with the engine in the car.

For a mechanic in a shop that does this stuff on a daily basis with every imaginable tool at his disposal your looking at 2-3 hours. Otherwise, for you... 4-6 hours depending on your experience and things going right/wrong.

Alright you guys are awesome but throw out some estimated prices. An experienced mechanic with his inflated prices at $200.00 for the job compared to me a moderate tuner with I'd say a little bit more knowledge than the basics that has ripped down a few engines. I personally don't want to get ripped off and I also don't want to shaft someone by doing the job for him. $200.00 for the professional licensed on average, how much do you think would be decent for me to charge someone, say $150.00?

Dont go to a shop! Its easy to do...Unbolt it and re-bolt it back on...

You dont even need to take out half the stuff you said you wanted to take out.
