Random or Red,

Which of the two (S-AFC or ITC) do you guys think is the better all-around for adjustability and usefulness? I get the sense that the S-AFC is favored, since it allows you to step up fuel flow for turbo and nitrous. Altering ignition timing would make everything more stable, but still wouldn't do anything to meet the increased fuel requirements. Would there ever be an occasion where you'd absolutely need BOTH?

Rather than purchasing an ECU which is statically programmed by someone who's 3000 miles away from your car, I would suggest buying the S-AFC and ITC combo.

On my 97 Rev-A 2.0L 5spd Tiburon, 60K miles on the odometer and MHP intake, HVE throttle body, ported intake manifold, elantra cam, HVE 4-1 header and full exhaust the S-AFC netted an 8WHP uncorrected gain on the dyno when it was tuned correctly.

I have done no personal testing on the ITC.

The S-AFC must be tuned specific to the car and it's mods; you do this by visiting your local dyno shop and using their wide-band O2 sensor to monitor the air/fuel ratio. Using the S-AFC, aim for an A/FR right at 13.5:1 and the car seems to make the best power right there when normally aspirated.

Yes, the S-AFC must be dyno tuned like Red stated.

No the S-AFC does NOT work well with Nitrous or forced induction.
