The orifice tube is a filter that also kinda controls how much coolant flows through the system. It is in the liquid/low pressure tube but I don't know where exactly and I can't find it on webtech.

Alls I found that KINDA match what you are talkin about (which I still dont understand) is this http://www.hmaservice.com/webtech/iindex.a...id=12339#_12339 Scroll down, theres a Thermostatic switch and an A/C pressure switch..

The only other thing is the Pressure Side Service Port maybe? http://www.hmaservice.com/webtech/iindex.a...id=12368#_12368

What are you trying to do?

I'm trying to get my ac working again. Every time you take the compressor off for a significant amount of time, you are supposed to evacuate the system and replace the drier because moisture gets in there. It is also recommended to change the orifice tube. But that I cannot find. Thank you for your help but I had already looked over that.

DON"T DOUBLE POST!!!

Well, after having the same wrong part sent to me three times, I have found that there is no orifice tube. I searched google for it and I found that hyundai's use the orange color coded orifice tube, so I thought that's what I needed but apparently there is not one. Anyway, there you go.
