Default One hell of an electrical problem

So I just picked up my Tiburon and registered it Yesterday. Made 2 ~20 miles trips and the car ran great. I jumped in today to run to the store real quick, start it up and misfires like a b**** and went away once it got warmed up. It obviously threw a code. So once I got the kids to bed, I went outside and hooked up my code scanner and...no power.

Here is the messed up part. The guy I bought it from said that his dad broke the key off in the ignition and instead of buying a new one, they ripped out the ignition switch and wired up a toggle for power and a push-button start. It is really dark outside so tomorrow I will post pictures of the mess.

It also has a few other problems other than the misfire. When I turn the switch off (for more than x minutes) and back on, the radio resets as if the battery was disconnected. The cruise control doesn't work, and with the switch off if I push the start button, it cranks (doesn't start, just cranks). I also noticed a wire kind of pushed into a fuse-hole with the fuse (don't know how to explain that) and that wire runs into where the wiring mess is inside the steering column.

So there is obviously a huge wiring issue. I haven't had the chance to dig-in yet, so I have no idea what is going on with the wiring. Tomorrow if I have time I will check it out and take some pictures to let you all know what I'm dealing with.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had access to wiring diagrams? Any and all would be good. I will be able to explain more when I can start digging tomorrow.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I should also add that it was raining today and was dry the other times that I drove it. Just in case becomes relevant later.

...also it's a 2001 Tiburon 2.0l

I have all the wiring diagrams from multiple sources for my 2001 Tiburon. If you can't get your answers from hmaservice.com then let me know which wiring diagrams you want and I will send them to you.

Yeah that site is not working for me. I try to sign up and it says I have to read the user agreement, when I click the link for the user agreement, a window pops up, but nothing loads.

/Main.asp, line 18

I'll keep trying though. Thanks for the help guys.

EDIT: Chrome was the problem. Works in Firefox. Thanks.

EDIT2: Doesn't work in Firefox either. Says
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or access denied

Guess I will go buy the Hanes manual. lol

Internet Explorer ONLY. I use hyundaitechinfo.com but it should be the same deal (used to be anyway) at hmaservice. Wiring diagrams are there but don't trust the color codes!
