pics coming maybe tomarow, lol, ok guys, finaly we got a einstein in here, I wanted to see how stupid u guys realy think i am and damn, some of you honestly think im a total dipshit. Ok, i did fordge through the said amount of water, last year completly stock and i the rotars then but i didnt have much of a chance damn floods, i got that changed then instantly, amazingly not much bad happened, for some reason there was water in the rear leg area, that i dont know how it got there. Trust i wouldent pointlesly forge through a body of water if it wasent necsary. The tib is in good hands no need for Tiburon Services to come and take it away, hes doing realy well. Well im pretty much done with this thread so ill add in abit more... about pics, hopefully tomarow if its warm ill give Toby a good scrubing of everything, except maybe underbody, ill have to see, and then ill take tons of pics for all of you. About boosting the springs up, i did do that before once cuz i was having problems with ground clearance on a daily bassis for my short trips in wisconson, i did that for about a week, its not a bad idea to help increase ground clearance for a SHORT amount of time, i wouldent recomend doing it for high speeds though. Ok, tnx for proving my point that you guys ill think im much more stupid then i realy am.

If you are going to have fun going offroading with the tib do it in a feild that you know dosen't have sharp objects not through streams, are you crazy
I was on the track today, autox, and there was water right off to the sides(no mistakes) they said make sure to turn off the engine before you get it because a Z06 got totaled because of the cold water going into the engine, along with the whole car geting flodded
Kit dont involve water with your offroading keep it safe

When i go hunting in the jungle (deep marshes and mountainty muddy weather type crap) i take a Jeep Grand Cheeroke, thats my friends, and when I go for just fun offraoding I take my dads Explorer sport that he pimped out dude the tires on that have such an agressive thread i can put my hand in there up to my knuckles. Its sweet, the Tib only sees like grassy offroading, Forest preserve type crap

OMG. I take it back.

This is why you need to be careful when buying a used car.

Kit, you keep this up, you are going kill your poor tib. I can answer a few of your questions though.

Water on the back carpets... there are drain plugs in the back of the floors.. they usually just let water OUT of the car.. but if the bottom of the car is submerged, they will let it in.

You already know about the brakes.

And yes, by sticking wood inside the springs you defeated them to a certain point and raised your spring rate to infinity where those coils are. Once you lost the wood on that side, that spring was back to normal and was now the "Soft" spring.. going into a corner, it would give much more than the other three and loose traction before them.

Keep this up.. you will not be losing your forum title anytime soon.. and welcome back!

I agree 100%. If anything, you would want it to be in top shape to get a good price for it. Now it's gonna stink like mildew.
