yup ! twin piston front calipers, bolt on, clears stock rims.

RockAuto has A1Cardone calipers with mounting bracket for 104 smackers, and iRotors (who ive bought from for 10 years) has front 2005 Kia Spectra drilled and slotted rotors WITH ceramic pads for 166 (on ebay)... and i might get a discount for being a return customer

104+104+166= 374 for a 12 inch Big Brake Kit !

it is bolt on affair but you just have to get the brackets with the new calipers.

i wanna say yes, thats why this is so desirable to do. no worries, in the next few days i will confirm purchase of the calipers and rotors. and do a test fit.

Taking a step farther, BBKs for the XG should also fit the spindle, but brackets may come into question for the RD if they need brackets for the GK with that kit. Interesting.

Not necessarily, the rotors are different so only calipers that fit the xg will work

Gk calipers also fit, but imo the 2 piston is more important than the aluminum housing

At one point denis was offering a aluminum 2 piston 13" bbk for like 800 iirc and no one jumped on it back then

The kia/xg 11" rotor/dual piston caliper brake upgrade with good pads and fluid stops the vehicle PLENTY quick.
