OEM Big Brake kit for non-captive 2000-2001 Tiburon
so if my memory serves me correct, can anyone confirm that the OEM BBK for non-captive setups on 2000-2001 Tibs is:
2005 Grandeur XG twin piston calipers
and
2005 Kia Spectra Rotors
is this correct ?

REDZMAN was trying to resurrect old posts but couldn't find the official write-up with part numbers. He may be a good person to contact

i did a basic write up when i figured out what parts to go with
didnt think you needed much of a write up more than "get these calipers and these rotors, then install the sh*t" but apparently there had to be one
its a bolt on affair, and they will clear the stock rd 15s but as previously stated, you will need to get a new spare
i got my spare from the yard off a sonata with a tire for 30 bux OR if you dont wanna deal with a full size spare, keep the donut and if you get a flat in the front, swap a rear tire to the front and put the donut on the rear(which is much safer place for a donut in the first place....being that you steer with the front)

well yea it was your post i got the info from, but a few members said they would do a DIY. your right tho, a DIY isnt needed but it solidifies the info. if you read thru your old post, there was a lot of nay say and confusion of what was the correct parts. even MY DIY on the auto to manual swap wasnt the first post on info regarding the swap, but it was the first DIY.
