Are the OEM Solite batteries serviceable..... can you top up the electrolyte cells with distilled water?

Looks like you can top them up but I couldn't get the cover off. Thought I'd ask before doing any damage.

Thanks.

Read what the battery says.

I haven't seen a "Serviceable" battery in the non-military world in about 10 years.

^^^
80% of batteries that I saw was serviceble. There are a lot of serviable battaries in shops also. and they are 2x creaper than non servicable and would last the same.

Usually there should be a mark - level that should be filled. Or just simply add distilled water so there will be above metal parts in battery on 1/3".

look at the battery there maybe a plastic cover thet covers the bottle caps. do you have a pic of your battery?

honestly, your battery is almost 5 years old. Even if you could top it off, it is nowhere near as efficent as it once was.

While you can still get servicable batteries, they have mostly been replaced here in States with more or less sealed ones... or at least batteries you cannot open the caps on to service.

No, and like Mad says, spend the $80-100 and just get another battery.
