Default Odometers

Are the odometers on tiburons controlled electronically or by a cable? If you suspect that your odometer might be off, how would you fix it or check to make sure it is working properly?

Do you mean odometer or speedometer?

Anyway, on your car they should be both cable driven from a gear on back/top of the transaxle. The only thing you can change with commonly available parts is the tire diameter. The way to check is to go to an interstate highway with mile markers and set a steady 60MPH indicated speed. If your odometer ticks one mile for every mile marker you pass, and the markers pass every minute, for maybe 10 or 20 miles, you are close enough not to worry about it. Within 10% you should still probably not worry about it.
