For the last couple days, the car is making humming noise when taking a corner. Dosen't matter left or right.
I checked the power steering fluid, its fine.
Could it be the rack???
any ideas

I know what is the problem.... but my problem is that I know the word in spanish but not in mechanical English... We call it " flecha " or in English is "arrow" is where are located in the "terminals" of each side of the wheels...

In other word... check the suspension.... they are damage

P.S.. Somebody help me on this... I want to know how do you call this part

I think what he means is that your wheel bearing is damaged. How many miles/kilometers are on your car?? I had to replace my driver side one once I hit the 100,000 km mark and i think I need to change my passenger side one now. Jack up the front of your car and try to move the wheels side to side with your hands(one hand on top of the wheel, and one on the bottom). If it moves the bearing could be shot. Take it to a dealership or a trustworthy mechanic and get it fixed. Your wheel could fall off after a bit!

The car has 126km. I had both wheel barings replaced about 2months ago.
The sound thats i'm talking about is not the wheel baring. It sounds like it
its comeing from the intake, humming almos like an echo. The car doesn't even have to be moving, it only does it when turning the wheel.

when it's not moving?? probably power steering pump then. since you already checked the fluid I bet it's going out.

Hrrrmmm..... I dunno, is it like a screeching sound?? Or is it like metal on metal. I think the rack would make noise only when you are actually turning the wheel. A screeching would be belts and that you would prolly know right away cause it's loud and f'n annoying.

:?: :?: :?:

I second the PS but the belts should be screeching no??

Have you looked underneath the car lately to see if there's any fluid leaks?
