Yeah... kinda figured that was why, they are a heluva lot brighter. Are the stock bulbs a little cooler or will I keep getting the same results?

yea... they are probably a higher wattage lamp.. good idea, but not when it starts melting the plastic. You would think that if 8 out of 10 have the problem, they would start equiping with lower wattage lamps?

Isn't there an emoticon out there that has the smiley smashing his head into a wall. I saw it somewhere.
Anyway, I loved that they were bright but the one light was on ALL the time. I have more to say after I get them back this week.
