Sorry it's taken me so long, just couldn't get on earlier.
Anyway, I fixed the problem, kinda, I just swapped my stock ones back in
More of a piss off than anything else, what could be the problem, do the euro's have a resistor/fuse or something that could have gone? I don't enjoy the look of my stock tails anymore either?? Oh well.

Yup, all I had to do was connect the adapters and I was off. Can I check for continuity, or is it a waste of time because I know they're shot?? I think Ima return them.
Anyone else get this problem.

Wait a sec, you put in Euro Tail lights and they came with their own wiring???
WTF? What was wrong with the OEM wires?
BTW, did you put the right bulbs in the right holders?

OMFG, I totally did not even think about swapping in the old wires!! Yes, they came with they're own wiring and lights, the whole nine yards. I'm going to assume that they were installed correctly, as I got them from the box like that. I know that they were really really bright.
Anyway, I called the company i bought them from and told them my problem. (Not only were they not working, but the bulbs were melting the lenses and the lenses were falling off too!) They said that this was a common problem with these tails. I am currently waiting for my new ones to arrive.
So now I got some questions. They guy said this happens to 8 out of 10 of these lights, but this is the first I've heard of such things.
1. Is it possible that the lights were in wrong? In the wrong spots I mean.
2. Is it possible that the lights themselves, or the wiring was setup to a higher load making them melt the lense??
All I know is that I'm going to swap out my OEM wiring when I get them next.

Meh....... I gotta wait for the new ones to come in. I think I'm just going to replace the lights they send me with my OEM ones. I think they are considerably darker in terms of lighting.
And what's that trout bit supposed to mean???? laugh.gif
