Default New header

I just got a new header and was wondering if i will have to wrap it? Since it doesnt have a heat shield? So it doesnt melt my fans.

I'd be more worried about the hoses than the fans... but most people around here do not wrap their aftermarket header & just about everyone gets rid of the heat-shield too.

I doubt its going to melt your fans or melt anything at all. Headers are made of stainless steel. Stainless steel is going to keep the heat in, and not let it out. And since there is less of a restriction, the exhaust is out of that area faster. I don't see a serious need for coating or wrap.

Whatever you decide to do, don't use exhaust wrap (cause headers to rust)..if anything, stay with ceramic coating
