Hi all, I suspect that my fuel pump relay is dead, I didn't tried the jumper yet but I know the pump work (I tested it on the fuel pump assembly). This is for a 2000 Elantra, but as the RD and J2 are quite similar I thought I could find help over here!
So what I can't find is :
1 - the test socket that is (from Webtech and Haynes manual) behind the IM, the thing is that I don't have any socket there, anybody know what the fuel pump test wire look like???
2 - the passenger relay box (from Webtech) is beside the "Cowl cross member" ... and where is that cross member??? I checked under the passenger dash and found only the vent system ... The Haynes manual talks about the fuel pump relay but don't write or show where it is located!!!
Any help would be appreciated!
Sorry if it's not in the right section ...

yeah but to be sure I need to find that terminal, by jumping it it'll start the pump, if the pump doesn't start then it's probably the wires that are cut somewere, that is also possible, I have some driver door switch problem, when I got the trims out with KeWLKat last summer the switch stated to work, the fuel wires run at the same place ...
I'm kinda pissed at my car right now, the pump was working when I tested the fuel pressure a few weeks ago ... I changed the FPR (it was busted, I had low fuel pressure and the FPR had fuel in the vaccum port) and now the fuel pump is not working ... arrggg!!!!!

They call it that because it's in the "Passenger Area", where you the people ride in the car. The other fuse/relay box is in the engine bay.

haaa .... now it make sense!!! lollll
UPDATE :
blowup.gif
aaaarrrrrrggggggggg
I ****ed something, probably a vaccum, now the car won't go above 1400 RPM, it's running like shit, at 1400 RPM it goes down to 700, then back to 1400, then back to 700 (what ever the gas I give).
So I have the fuel working but I still need to find that last problem! mad.gif
EDIT :
w00t!
I think I found out what the problem was, I can hear a vaccum leak from under the IM, I'm sure it's the power brake vaccum, I have a cyl 4 misfire (where the PB vaccum is connected).
So wednesday (tomorrow I can't) I'll change the vaccum hose and it's surely fix that problem!
FINALLY my car will be working! it's been down from late december !!! eek5.gif
