I'd recommend inquiring in the ENGINE forum wink

My couple of coppers are that the BEST intake would be a well designed custom one. I have no experiences to share about any off the shelf intakes.

Gotta bust his balls a lil smile.gif

You'd think with a topic like INTAKE he'd put it in the Engine/INTAKE/Exhaust Forum

but I guess that would have taken common sense and we all know that died a long time ago.

Rules with newbies and questions:
1. USE THE SEARCH... its most likely already been posted about and discussed.
Rule two:
2. PLEASE, post in the appropriate forum. It's labeled, and you should have NO problem seeing which forum it goes under.. NOT difficult unless you're 23 and still spoonfed by your mother.
Rule 3:
3. Even when we bust your balls, dont go running with your tail between your legs, its all for fun. Learn and move on.
Rule 4
4. Thank you for choosing TSR as your hyundai source for information... you make yourself pleasant, and everyone will be pleasant around you.

I cant think of anymore, plus I have a box of fig newtons that need to be ate.

To answer your question, my opinion makes me believe the Shark Racing CAI will be the best!

Come on guys, cut the kid some slack! Just because he's a new member doesn't mean that you've got to rub his face in it. Wouldn't it be just as easy and more professional to simply explain the "search" thing? He'll figure it out for himself soon enough--but on a guy's first post, you've gotta have some leeway.

And imagine this--you can even answer his question too if you're really in a good mood...

Hey Tiburonfx95...I would also wait for the Shark Racing CAI to be released.

I got the Injen CAI about a month ago...and not only is the car faster now, w/ better throttle respose, and louder...to give you some concrete numbers...my gas mileage improved by 20%...and my friend Kelly who gotthe same intake went to the dyno and is putting 125hp to the wheels.

not bad at all for a $175 investment... wink

I disagree with ripping the newbie already. It's his first post. A simple, "You're new, so try this. Oh, and since we're nice, here is an answer too" would have been much better. Now if it was Drew asking something like this... LET 'ER RIP!

PBHOU: I've seen how you keep stating this,
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>and my friend Kelly who gotthe same intake went to the dyno and is putting 125hp to the wheels...</div>May I ask if you have dyno sheets of your buds car STOCK, so everyone here can compare them to the dyno sheet you claim of 125 whp??? I'm sure he got copies, thanks, it's just better for NEWBIES to understand what a dyno sheet looks like too, and understand the difference, also in the dyno did he get a gain in Torque?
