I think strikeagle just gave me the best advice I ever heard !!

But for the reaction time, At my dragstrip it does not count in your E/T so I don't really worry about that ! When I race somebody, it's not about crossing it first but more your total time.

im wondering how the v6 ever came into play for its 1/4 mile time.. why would you ever compare the stock I4 to the v6? why not just compare the I4 to the v6 gen coupe?

and again, just cuz one driver runs a 17 with a stock car, doesn't mean thats the fastest that stock car can go..

Ok guys listen! I did that 16.6 with ONLY exhaust ! I know im not the best ! there is probably one of you that could do 16 flat ! But low 15?? isn't that a bit to over estimating the car??

I recall on your pwnt account you had a lower time with the CAI by .1 or .2 seconds? was that BS also?

the RD series Tiburons had a published 1/4 mile time of 16.1 stock, with actual members running well under that with I/H/E. considering the GK weighs about 300lbs more you can add roughly .30-.40 to any RD time to see what you should be running..

if a great driver with I/H/E in and RD can run a 15.1-15.5 a 4cyl GK with comparible mods in good condition should be at ~15.40-16.0

I know you are looking for a second chance. So I'll apologize for this, but it is funny

Hello everyone, some of the RD members might remember me.

I built my 98 2.0 Tiburon NA before boosting it and was able to get a 14.6 at 95.95 mph out of it on street tires with something like a 2.2 60'.

My fastest time boosted was 12.6 @ 113 mph but I've since added 5lb of boost and adjusted the tune so with the drag radials and a sub 2.0 60' I shouldn't have an issue getting into the 11's.

Whatever happened to the "Who's the Fastest?" thread from RDTiburon?

Kind of crazy to come back and see the things I was so dedicated to years ago. Glad to see there are still other members on the forum!

But to the OP, mid 15's to mid 16's seem to be normal times for 2.0L 5sp Tiburons in near stock form. Mine was quite heavily modified to get into the 14's NA.
