My Little Big Problem
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (lilo shark @ Apr 20 2009, 04:57 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>ok, so i check the two wires i switched and one is the tps and and rear O2. if the tps is out would it still cause the problem of not starting?</div>
I would assume a bad tps could make it not stay running. I had an uncompatible map in and the car wouldn't run for more than 4 seconds.
Is the fuel pump on now?

no, not yet, i'm going to go rip out my buddy's Ingera Type R fuel pump later and see if it works. i'm hoping to atleast the weather here is going to suck for the next two days.
i checked for spark and there is spark, then i took my battery out and tested my fuel pump straight and that works too. now, i'm out of ideas. both my suggestions were wrong?????

So you did the linked fuel pump test?
You heard it run?
If so, get in the car and attempt to start it WITH the fuel pump access cover open. See if you h ear it then. If not, your CKP is toast, or the wiring related to it are toast. The fuel pump test just does that, test the fuel pump. If the CKP doesn't send a signal, then the fuel pump doesn't pump.
So, go try what I said, check the CKP wires, check the sensor itself, and see if it is loose.

Don't quote the post above yours.

Look, we are trying to help here, but when you skip questions or only partially answer, you delay it all.
Great, you jumped the fuel pump and it worked. Now do what I said and see if the fuel pump works when you TRY TO START THE CAR. If you jumper test it, that just proves that the pump works, but not anything else. You can narrow it down to the CKP by doing what I told you. Pull up the rear seat, take the cover off of the fuel pump access, and attempt to start the car. When you turn it over, listen for the fuel pump. If, when the engine is turning over, the fuel pump doesn't fire off, then you go after the CKP. If it DOES fire, then it isn't the CKP.
I'm not being a dick, but I hate repeating myself.
