Well, long time, no post. Anyways, i'm buying my exhaust and customizing it. Just thought i'd let you guys and girls know.

Cheap Header Off Of Ebay (MotorEnergy) Prob similar to SS Autochrome i'm guessing
Catco High Flow Cat
Glasspack
SS Autochrome Exhaust
Magnaflow Muffler

I think this should be a decent quality setup.

a big MEH from me.. itll be 'decent', keyword 'decent'. lol

the ssautochrome header, which im sure is the one your getting is about a B as far as headers go. they will give you a bit of power, but are cheaply made and sound like ASS.

ssautochrome exhaust comes with a muffler, and a built in resonator i believe. i have heard the welds BLOW on the exhaust and have heard of them falling apart.

you could have a cheaper, under axle mandarel bent exhaust done at an exhaust shop that will flow better and be made better then the ssautocrap.

i would also get better headers than that if i was spending the money on an N/A setup..

and good luck finding a shop to do custom mandrel bends cat-back. people always talk about it, but i spent honestly 2 weeks finding a shop, about 2 days driving around going to places, and finally hitting the phone book of minneapolis. most places will buy mandrel bends and weld them together, but then if u go show them your car they say its too complicated. custom mandrel bent exhausts are expensive and hard to find.

btw, which muffler are you buying? i wouldn't buy a striaght through if you don't want it to be loud, even if it is a magnaflow.

the headers only sound like ass when you use the test pipe they come with.

the ssautochrome exhaust has always been considered awesome, not sure where you are hearing shitty welds from. i have an old obx exhaust(like 5 years old), which im guessing is an early version of the same thing and it is put together great.

anything done at a local exhaust shop will rust in about 5 days. not to mention that welds done at 95% of exhaust shops are TONS more shitty than those on the ssautochrome/motoria/obx.

obx headers, stock cat, obx exhaust, and re-used exhaust gaskets along with a busted up flexpipe(half way through):

if you want it to be quiet i'd go for one of these:
http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopdis...main&id=303

all the other ones are straight through, and if u do some research on 3 chamber mufflers ull find they hinder performance a negligible amount, they reflect soundwaves backwards in the chambers to cancel out sounds.

straight through mufflers use absorbtion to reduce sound, the difference between a straight-through magnaflow and a straight-through ebay rice can sound-wise won't be much different. a little, but not much, meaning the magnaflow will still be loud.

Thanks, that helps. I'm going to get a glasspack would that help with the straight through.

If i were to get one of those other ones would i still need a glasspack.
I still want to have some sound, hence i want it a little bit louder than stock.
