been there, done that. Years ago when I had my excel, I was heading down to Baltimore for my birthday... ten miles into the trip the mid pipe on the exhaust broke.... so I was dumping unmuffled exhaust directly below the shifter.... all the way to baltimore (three hour trip) and back...
So I can feel your pain on the sound...

If you don't have a "flex pipe" (or whatever it is called) to reduce the vibrations, that what might have caused it to break...
You know, that little fragment of pipe that looks like it's streachble.
I do have one, but installing the headers pressed it, and it lost it's functionallity...

I have one, but that's all the way on the other side of the car.
I'll check out the condition of all exhaust parts when i install the new muffler.

lmfao patrick.
its alright tho...i feel ur pain. i had to drive my car for 3 miles to the muffler shop when i was putting my 4-1 header in. hahahaha, sooooo fuhreaking loud. but it was kinda fun too when i did it. i just hit it in second gear at 30mph and man, it was shaking the ground, setting off car alarms left and right. awesome stuff.
btw, u can get a magnaflow pretty much any muffler shop in seattle for $150 or less. if u want to save money, get it online.

See ya around man. Btw throttle body is holding up just great, even with the throttle body bypass. Thanks for the install help bro, but now I can do way more than that on my own...lol. Fast learner.

BTW, look at my updated profile....ARIZONA!

I know how that is.
I had to drive my car 5 miles through town to the shop with only the header installed. If I could do it over again I would tow it. My ears were ringing by the time I got there, and every person within earshot was pointing at me. When I accelerated as gently as possible, people in cars around me would cover their ears.
That looks like a bad weld in your pic to me.
