72,500 miles. Bought it new. 9/9/00

Replaced Automatic Tranny (under warranty), Timing Belt, and all other belts @ 68,000 miles. Never had any other problems other than that. The tranny could have been partially my problem... never replaced ATF oops.gif
It's time to change my rotors, I can feel they're starting to warp :x time to buy D/S laugh.gif

I bought it last year (7/15/2003)

it now has 190,054km !!!

at the moment I am hearing a rattling sound, sounds like its comming from the valves or injectors??
...but there is a little bit of rattle at 2200 rpm
She IS do for a tune-up anyway smile.gif

Things I KNOW have been replaced:

Battery
Belts
TRANNY!!$$
front Rotors
Brakes (obviously, ...Duh)
Ignition wires
Sparks plugs (of course)
Air filter (of course)
all fluids as well (of course, ...duh!)

I am going to get a new timing belt put in this september (since I have no idea when it was replaced before I bought the car)

oh yeah, and that Mr.Clean Auto dry car wash shit rules REDZ!!
-Thanks

If it was'nt for this site, I doubt my car would be running as well as she is.
I've learned alot, and continue learning from here.

I have around 23,000 on my 2001...got it 01/25/02 (it was the LAST one on the lot...all the miles are mine 8) ). I haven't had any big problems....my windows got stuck in the up position (went to the dealer, they couldn't find anything wrong, but it was fixed when i got it back). my header rattles when it's warm outside, the car shakes around 70 a bit, and my muffler makes a loud noise when i accelerate after letting it sit for a bit, but those are all aftermarket things, nothing to do with the car.

We've had really good experiances with all our hyundais (3)....the biggest problem we've had was the back wiper arm just broke off of my dad's accent...no biggie

No problem mang, that's what I'm here for.

43,000 miles on my Tib, 167,000 on my 93 Excel.

Both still run fantastic.

No real MAJOR problems with either. Excel I had a broken rocker arm shaft but that cost 80 bucks and took about 2 hours to replace. Tib, my Cruise is broke, but that's my fault, one door lock actuator (Remember your first remote with unlock? Fun eh?), and my power windo assy. I think the first owner slammed the door alot.

replaced rear pads at 35K miles and machined the rear rotors. fronts were fine, just had 'em cleaned up. replaced plugs/wires (NGK iridium). all 3 belts at once. one was cracking so i decided to replace 'em all at the same time. did that at about 39K.

i've heard of problems w/ headlight bulbs blowing out quite a bit. has never happend w/ me (knock on wood) and i've had the car for 20K miles. (currently have 43,500 miles, and have owned since July 6th, 2003 (yes...20K miles in ONE year) ).

rear view mirror loves to rattle. get used to it tongue.gif

other than that, no major problems
