Sounds to me like you are fufilling a lot of suspension work. Your car is going to be much better than the OEM suspension!
I have been working like crazy but haven't been spending a lot of money on the Tib. My RSide headers have been on for a couple weeks and I just ordered smoked tails, and now I'm focussed on getting the damn exhaust done.

lol...open your hood after 20 minutes of driving and stick your head within a couple feet of the header. you will notice it.
aftermarket headers put out tons more heat than the stock header with heat shield did.

right on. there's a reason it says, "H O T" there. without the heat shield a LOT of heat goes into the engine. When i put on my zefiro vented hood, i noticed the engine temp go down a notch and all the heat (looks like the heat that rises from fire) from my GT Headers (raised directly under the vent) rises up directly up into the air and none of it goes into the engine bay. if you're driving constantly through traffic like i do, there's massive heat flow going up through the hood during the whole drive. it's incredible to have even thought that that stuff could be packed in the engine. thank god i got the hood =)
headers go through such rapid temperature changes it's not even funy guys. the number one reason why they rust is due to rapid heat changes. think of when you start your car in the winter. your headers are freezing. within a minute of the ignition, they become sizzling hot. they rust overtime because of it and that's why coating preserves them as well as the airflow from the inside.
the next thing i would do is get headers, if you're not going turbo.
got any pics of your setup???!!!
