Got a major problem with my 03 gt. had a bike that acted this way befor wen the fuel filter needed changing. It's sluggish and in first and second, will not stay smooth. Have to rev to 3k or more just to get going. Wen i hit a bump, it sputters like its running out of gas. Can hear it in the exhaust, it's sputtering like its cammed out majorly and gurgling. Occasionally dies wen clutch is in at a stop. Thinking fuel pump, but wana be sure befor I drop the money in it. Any clue??

According to that, this is a regular replacement item and if yours was never done it's no surprise it is clogged.
