Default Lower control arm bolt for rd2

Was in an accident recently, word on word despite her turning into my lane, I have liability. I have the body work done and most of the suspensions work is done (new hub and wheel bearing as well as new sway bar links and tie rod) and I have the control arm off now, but the front drivers side bushing bolt snapped. Of course, however, I can’t find the bolt anywhere. Does anybody have any ideas?

Have you not been to a junkyard? That'd be my first instinct on an oddball part like that.

There’s no tiburons in any yards near me, I’ve checked.

Do you have an RD Tiburon? I hate to state the obvious but you do know the Tiburon 1997-2001 and Elantra 1996-2000 were basically the same car, right? You can look for those in the yards too. You could also call yards in your region, and ask if they'll pull and send you the bolt. Or maybe look on ebay and find a seller who has parts for your car, and ask them for the bolt. Or take the matching bolt from the other side to a fastener company in town, or maybe compare measurements with McMaster-Carr or ask somebody like Marsh Fasteners if they will help you out. Maybe with a preliminary stop at a machine shop, to have them measure the bolt. Or hey, maybe you could call a body shop and ask THEM what they would do. You can't be the only person who had that bolt snap, and it's their job to source a replacement, right? If worse comes to worst, you might be able to persuade a member here to dig one out of a parts car somewhere.

I guess the new software doesn't have peoples' cars listed on the left side of every comment like the old one did, or I wouldn't look silly mentioning a comment about the wrong model year car. or locations, either. Hmm...
