Longest you've gone between brake pad changes
I went 2 years on mine, which isnt too bad I guess. I had to change both the pads and rotors front and rear. They still had some pad left, but not much.

i bought the wagon with 110k miles on it, previous owner drove the freeway a lot so she rarely used em, i infact drove the freeway everyday to work in it, so i rarely used em myself
when i purchased it she told me "it might need brakes, im the original owner and they have never been replaced and are starting to squeek now"
i took em apart, deglazed the pads and rotors with a scotch brite pad and a cup of brake cleaner(we got it by the drum at the shop), the pads still had something like 40% on em, so i reinstalled em and called it good
the rear had like 25-30%...she is female after all(ebrake) but lets face it, a rear non abs drum setup on a elantra wagon does jack sh*t to slow you down
