damaged in the repo process.... I wonder exactly what that means. The towtruck driver didn't care? There was a highspeed chase? They hooked up and had to run due to a shotgun waving owner? It leaves so much open for interpetation.

Sounds to me like the kid took whatever he could sell pretty easily, knowing before hand the bank would repo his car. Don't know why he left the intake though wink1.gif

To me, it looks like the car was stolen. The interior is all f-ed up, stereo ripped out, etc..etc..

Either that, or the guy KNEW it was going to be repo'd and just decide to take what he could and f*** up what he couldn't. Which makes me worry about the CEL (read below)

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON, I AM TOLD THIS IS BECAUSE THERE ARE NO SENSORS IN THE FRONT BUMPER??? IT APPEARS THAT THE AIRBAGS ARE STILL IN PLACE. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON INTERMITTANTLY.</div>

Dude probably ditched the airbag sensors when he ditched the front bumper reinforcement to make the body kit fit. The CEL is probably due to the lack of an intake. God only knows what other sensors are misssing. Unless the guy decided to do damage to the engine on purpose knowing it was going to be repo'd

On the body kit, my guess is that the tow truck driver just didn't frickin care. They usually drag them out of the driveway/parking spot via the rear bumper, then hook up the front end for towing with the front wheels off the ground. The guy who did it was either in a big hurry, or was using some REALLY old equipment that doesn't accomodate low vehicles.

I might go as high as $5000 for it, but anything over that is questionable. WHen you consider what the body kit parts will cost, plus paint, plus the various other parts you'll need... It would get spendy fast.
