just wondered if any one can tell me how hard it is and how to install a power steering and alternator pulleys
did a few searches and they didnt help me much. One said that the powersteering pulley was like really hard to pull off and put on? Is this true

 

If you have proper tools, it should be a piece of cake.

 

first off what year your tiburon and 2nd what brand?

 

it is a 2001 and the pulleys are OBX

 

No, one of the pulleys isn't going to fit. OBX pulleys seem to suck.

 

Yeah like Redz said. The Power Steering pulley will not fit. No splines. But the water pump pulley will fit fine.

 

A machining shop can probably add the splines for you since you already bought the pulley. You will go through a lot added hassle for that pulley to fit though.

Should've used the Search feature before you bought em.

 

Does OBX crank pulley fit?

 

I say yes, but I wouldnt mind a second opinion. I had one never installed it and got the GIM one. They both looked the same and had the same depth and size grove but I never actually installed the OBX one.

 

If someone can confirm that, it would be great smile.gif
