I guess the f&f were right on the money with that one lmao.gif I didnt realize u could actually get flames out the exaust unless really agressive cams and runing to rich. anyways sounds like u got lucky on that one.

of course the 01s r going to be more expensive just because newer cars r more expensive; even if they have the same milage options etc

I read about the change 5 years ago when the 2001 Tibs first came out (unfortunately I threw the magazine away a long time ago). Here's an article with the changes, read the part on 2001. It's nothing major.

It's been a long time since I read up on it, but I think the difference was that the solid engine mounts were replace with hydraulic ones.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (TibMinn @ Sep 22 2005, 04:13 AM)</div><div class='quotemain'>well that makes me mad... I've always wished my morrors were painted, imo itd look a lot nicer. the thing is, i DO have a 2001.... why wouldnt mine be painted if all of the rest of them were!? screwed again...
<div align='right'><{POST_SNAPBACK}></div></div>

From my observations, i beleive that only SX models do not have painted mirrors (generally). Ive never seen an FX/SFX without painted mirrors. Im not 100% sure but that is what ive noticed.

Not all 2000 models came with only one cat...depends on where you purchased. I got mine in December '99 in Cali, and it came with two cats.
