Wasn't sure where to put this. Bought my 01 Tiburon Used a week ago, the interior is 2 tone leather. However, the passenger door panel is leather, the driver side is plastic like the dash. Is this normal?

What do you mean the Pass. side is leather?
BOth doors should be 2 type of material. Plastic and leather (vinyl)

 

yes, it is normal. for the INSERTS.

The drivers (NA) side door panel insert should match the dash, the passengers side is also plastic, but has a texture to it like the crash pad (the upper part of the dash).

Both door panels are Fiberglass, w/ vinyl laid on top. Regardless of whether or not your tib came w/ leather seating.

 

yea, i know exactly what you mean. I thought the exact same thing about my tib so i drove to the dealor and looked at another one. Its normal.

 

ok, wasn't sure if it came like that or was in a wreck and was just replaced wrong. it just kind of threw me off at first.
