My assumptions is that the BHP in the '00 Tib is closer to 135 than to 140. When I first took the car for a test drive, the salesmen claimed it was rated at 140bhp, but after I took it for a drive, the car felt like it couldn't satisfy those numbers. Probably with my intake, I've got 140-145bhp, at least that's what it FEELS like it should be at.

Quite honestly, I'd find it hard to tell the difference between a 135hp car and a 140 hp car.

That being said, I'd be interested to know how much a base manual Tibby with no frills would weigh in at? In my humble opnion, its alot easier to gain power than it is to lose weight.

Im still looking for reliable numbers

137 horsepower seems to be most common.

0-60 for 6.9-7.1 sec
