12.8 is on the rich side for N/A most likely, but its not super power-robbing rich.

Not really, he's at sea level.

LOL

Don't forget, those are his readings and he has several mods.

CAI.

Exhaust.

BBTB (60MM)

And more.

Those mods help with getting more AIR in, so it will be less rich smile.gif

Is your SAFC tuned at all?

The SAFC is tuned to come on at 95% throttle. The majority of the time when I am driving my throttle is at 12%.

I'm going to have to find a highway or something so I can hit true WOT to see what my SAFC is doing.

DUH. Hence why I said yes, we DO run rich, he's not running AS rich anymore because he's at SEA LEVEL and has several mods bringing in MORE AIR.

You didn't explain what those mods will do, you just he just has them, and I wanted to make sure that he knows what we are talking about.

Yeah, I know that I am bringing more air in. Although right now the only mod I have on the intake side is the CAI. Exhaust side is 4-1 headers, magnaflow cat (has 2 bungs), and Apexi exhaust.

Dunno about the intricacies of the Hyundai ECU, but would more mods really make a difference in the A\F? The MAF is going to be reading more airflow, and the IAT is going to be reading cooler temps, so I would assume the ECU is going to bump up fuel accordingly, unless its retarded. On every other car I've seen in detail, which isn't many, if you get a boost pressure spike while you have a turbo, for instance, the ECU will sense that spike and kick up the fuel, saving the engine from extreme harm in most instances.

Uhm, Java isn't an idiot, he knows what those mods do.

Java, I thought you fixed the BBTB?

Nah, not yet. I need to get the crack welded up. I could probably cobble it together with something, but would rather it be done right.
