IAC valve buzz?

Is it normal for the intake air control valve to buzz when the ignition is turned to on?

I seem to recall that mine does. I forgot about it, it worried me so much.

I remember mine doin it. I believe it just does that.

Alright, I believe mine has done it ever since i owned it, just wanted to make sure it was normal

Thats normal. Thats the electric motor spinning the valve open and closed to keep you idling .

Mine does this even with the key out, I gave up trying to figure out why.
