How much for 60k Service??

Hey guys for any of you that drive alot, how much did you have to pay for your 60k service??

You should do as much of it as you can yourself. Then take it to the dealer for the 60k service. It will be cheaper for you. I think all I paid for was the manual gearbox fluid change.

I believe through a dealership you'll pay about $400... plus another $250 for the timing belt replacement (needed before 75-80k miles, only covered on warranty up til 60k).

most of that service is easily done if you have the basic hand tools... tranny fluid, timing belt.. yadda yadda yadda.. nothing you cannot get done in an afternoon.

sorry to bring up an old post... but what all is involved in the 60k service... i just hit 50k and if its gonna cost me 400 bux i need to start savin up

coolant exchange, trany fluid exchange, plugs/wires, timing belt, and pretty much "check" everything: brakes, front end, etc. thats all i can think of off the top of my head
