I have a 97 tibby, it is a fx and it has a 2.0l. I think I would know what kind of car that I have. I also have the power sunroof and the disc setup. My tib also has the a/c. You could always check wikipedia.com, they have a breakdown on the tibby fx. Trust me, my title says Hyundai Tiburon Fx right on it. Unless it is lying, then the 97 was the fx. In the states anyway.

*edit* I found the article on wikipedia's website. Heres the link for the article. It mentions the fx only being for the 97.

I'm in Canada, and when I bought mine, it was advertised as a 1998, and sported the SE emblem on the back. I have all of those specs ^^ except for the leather seats though. 02.gif

 

My Canadian 01 is an SE, type R spoiler, sunroof, a/c, but no leather.

 

type r spolier? would you mine taking a picture of that frozen.and redtib can you take a pic of your tib from the back, i wan to see whats the difference between yours and mine, cuz i have all the features except sunroof and abs.

 

I bought my car in August 1998. It is a 98 Tib FX. So 97 is not the only year that FX was made. My car had 4 miles on it when I bought it off the showroom floor. The driving difference as you walked around the lot back then was the brakes, fog lights, double-din stereo, 15in alloy wheels, and leather seats. Those were the standard inclusions of the FX. Other options was for having a shark spoiler instead of the low profile boomerang looking one (but FX had a spoiler either way, I have the boomerang one), moon-roof (never seen any FX's with a sunroof), and also had an option for color matching floor mats.
