I’ve seen this look on a few cars where the hood covers part of the headlights giving it a pissed off look. I have never found a hood that comes this way, so do people weld in metal or something to extend the hood over the lights?
Wonder if it is an option available through body kit manufacturers when choosing the kit for your car? Wouldn't be an easy mod to do in the backyard if you wanted it to look as good as that one does, then again someone with body work skills will probably say that it is easy to do.
if you do it 'RIGHT' with metal, all you really need to know how to do is weld and bend metal. i would never do something like that with fiberglass. then just get it painted and voila.
eyelines give generally the same look and are MUCH easier/cheaper using vinyl. obviously not as nice as the welded hood (a member on here did it on their RD1) but the look is pretty close...
i had fiberglass eyelines on my srt-4 and really liked the look.. a LOT cheaper than getting the hood modded and repainted

yeah that one is metal added to the hood witch looks a lot better then eyelines. its metal eyelines shaped then welded to the hood ive seen it on a few sites and can look killer!
Doesn't block out as much as you think, really.
Try holding a sheet of cardboard up to your lights to simulate it, about the samevisibility, just creates a bit more cutoff.
Which can be a good thing...
