Default How do you resest the computer on an RD2

hello guys!!! i was wondering how does one reset the computer on a 2001 tiburon. i read about it all the time in the different topics but havent quite yet found what is the procedure for doing this? can somone please explain how this is done?

disconnect negative terminal of battery. This should be all.



Some people say tap brakes to drain any power that may be left, but disconnecting the battery has been enough for me.



Maybe pulling the ECU fuse is easier?

Disconnect the battery and I do touch the brakes for a few seconds or open the door so the dome light pulls any leftover power out of the system. You'll get REALLY bad fuel mileage for the first 50ish miles until it learns again, so I've discovered.

thats it?!?!?!?! thats what i've done!!!!!!! i thought it was some other procedure. although i will do the brake thing just in case

its bettr to pull the ecu fuse because it wont reset any setting you have on your radio/ clock etc
