Anyone know what the Dynomax Ultraflo welded sounds like? 17230 in particular..

I had the muffler installed with another project So I'm not sure on the installation charges. Maybe $40?

Maybe tonight. My buddies and I are planning to head out to the street racing spot, to talk cars and check out the 100+ furious rides, not race. So I'll bring my video camera and I might get a chance to get a video in an abandoned parking lot. It sounds a HELLUVA lot better in the car. Today I put on a new camber kit because my old one ate it and had Joshua, my alignment tech, align the vehicle and take it for a test drive to make sure it was in spec. When I was outside the car I could still hear some waaa, but not as bad as it was before. It could use a resonator.

 

yeah i hate that rice sound, it's so annoying. i don't have it at all with my glasspack and magnaflow, the only problem is it reminds me of a tree cutting service at work. it sounds good but nothing spectacular. guess you can never get a good sound N/A 4 cylinder, only turbo.

You didn't have to, but I'm just curious as to how it sounds so I can start narrowing down my choices.

 

It's a quieter muffler then the flowmaster delta 40 or the cherrybomb turbo, but it's louder then stock. video is uploading now.

video will be up once youtube finishes processing it. It was very impromptu. I just set the camera down and started going. It shows inside and outside the car.


There were still cars in the lot so I did not get too crazy.

Oh, yeah, no nitrous. I'm on 87 octane right now.
