Hey guys.
Installing my Apexcone H4 H.I.D. kit on my girlfriends Toyota Yaris and I am having issues.
I've got the one side installed and went to test but nothing happening except the "click" from the ballast. The first thing I noticed when I began the install was that the H4 bulb has 3 prongs but the harness only has 2. ( 2 sides but no top pin) here:

Now this car only has the one bulb for both HI and LOW beams, could this be the problem? The instructions talk about some HI/LOW beam controller.
Ideas?

You most likely ordered the wrong kit because when I ordered my kit 2 weeks ago I remember looking at the different bulbs and it said you had to choose if the bulb was for both the high and low and it probably only has two prongs because it is only meant for the low beams and not the highs. If it were meant for both it would have a third prong for the operation of the high beams
But you would think if they sent you hi/low bulbs, they should have sent you hi/low ballasts... Looks like you got hi/low bulbs with an on/off ballast.
I think they mixed up the bulb and ballast combination.

Well there never was an option, it was just "H4" and I thought that was pretty standard for cars with an H4 setup to have the HI/LO on the same bulb.

H4 is H4. There's not 2 different types of H4 bulbs, there's ONE. If the OEM bulb is H4 the aftermarket H4 will fit.
It's the reason they have the same names...
So what you need to do is look at the wiring on the OEM bulbs and see how they hook up to this one. The setup shouldn't be any more different from my HID DIY other than installling a third wire. I'd recommend you do a google and see about installing them.
Hell, WTF is with folks not searching Google?
I just googled...
h4 hid installation.
First link.
