Default H.I.D.'s

I was thinking of putting H.I.D.'s on my Tib for my low beams cause I seen a topic here saying the high beams don't really make a difference though I do live in bfe. My question though is how hard are they to put in if I wanted to do it myself?

Not at all. The "hardest" thing to do is drill through the black plastic cap thing.

That and mounting the ballasts. Finding a good place for them, and getting your meathooks in the space that you picked, lol.

Do you have something on the back of the headlights that protect the headlights from moisture like the three hyundai's I have installed HIDs on?

3M tape = win on the mounting. No problems so far. Other than trying to get that crap to let go when I dismounted one kit... that was... tough. I guess the engine heat sort of glued it on.

you mean the cap that is right behind the bulb itself. I got what you mean now. I assume the tape is for mounting the balast.

Yep. You have to drill a hole in it to get the wires through it.

I just covered the bottom of the ballast in 3M tape and stuck them to something flat.

I put my ballast for both my fogs and lows under the headlight. Tons of room and its tucked away.

once I get the H.I.D.'s I'll have to look at how much room I have there. I should have the same amount of room as you did I would think. I thought about doin H.I.D.'s for the fog lights as well. Does it make a lot of difference?
