I don't see the point. Your car won't sound better, you won't pass emissions testing, and you shouldn't see much gain in performance. Just get a good 2.25" exhaust from your local shop

You will feel very little to no performance gain. You will have a CEL. Your exhaust will smell bad. It will be very noticeable in indoor parking lots. The unburned hydrocarbons in the exhaust may cause cancer to whoever is constantly inhaling them (that would be you).

If you want to free up that exhaust, get a 2.25 or 2.5 exhaust with an magnaflow cat (i opened up a thread with some model #s).

PROS on N/A.. none.. will sound like shit.. wont help performance where you can notice it. itll smell like shit, etc. etc. etc.

CONS: thats all their is.

I run no cat on my srt-4 and i did on my turbo tib. tib smelled like shit, wish i woulda had a cat.

only running no cat on srt-4, cuz mine was smelling like poo, and it was real cheap to get a 80$ catless DP.. doesn't smell any different to me.

don't go straight pipe, just upgrade the whole exhaust.
