Default GK BCM Assembly and Turn Signals

As the title states: BCMA Issues ~ History: October 2007, turn signals in my car stayed on a solid state after activated and wouldn't shut off until the fuse was pulled.

Through looking into the Shop manual, Electrical manual and speaking with the dealership (And having the wrong part # to begin with) I learned that
1. The Turn Signals are a Solid State component
2. The Turn Signals are an internal component of the Body Control Module Assembly

This will cost a pretty penny now.

Here is the make up of the turn signals and the hazard relays ~ All solid state components

Replacing the BCMA would have been easy, but there was a change in the part # and new harnesses will be required to install it.

For my Specific build 9/11/02, they changed part numbers and requires the entire harness to be changed out. $1000 dollars for the unit and the harness; plus hours of labor to change all harnesses in the car.

Old part # 95410-2C100 $854
New Part# 95480-2C320 $1000

Spoke with Justin and Jason at http://www.allhyundaiisuzuparts.com/
888-944-7898
$375 shipped for the same part number replacement #95410-2C100

This is just a heads up if anyone with an 02-03 GK build GT V6...you may experience the same issues and this is what is needed to resolve said issues.

Wow, that would suck. I had the turn signals go out on my LC2 Accent but luckily I just needed a new relay.

Yeah, it does suck...been working on this and a standard by-pass for a year now...never could get the voltages to work out correctly and didn't want to screw anything else up with the BCMA...sigh, I guess I will be shelling out 400 bucks for the unit used and just replace it. Once I do get the old one out, I will find out how to remove and find a acceptable replacement to the turn signals, so no one has to spend this kind of cash to make their turn signals work again.

Would require some wiring and a flasher relay or two.....but you COULD just wire up the turn signals and bypass the BCM?

Not hard just would take time...
