Is there such thing as RD1 made in 02 or 01?

How much of a difference is there between gauges for RD1 and RD2?

Which ones should i get? =)

 

umm i dont think so, rd1 = 97-99 rd2= 00-01 . you have an rd2 so get rd2 gauges, but which ones you talking about ? like reverse gauges?

 

the reason why i am asking is cuzz i bought some fro ebay. and they don't fit - guy is claiming that it is my own fault.. but his auction stated that they were made for 99-02 tibs..

 

lol nah theres no such thing as 02 tib, and rd1 and rd2 are a little different

Nope, if they don't fit, the ones you got are for first gens. 97-99.

No, the guy is a moron and went by what his supplier has written. I used to email the ebay folks weekly about it but no one would change their discriptions.

1997-99 use one set of gauges, the 2000-2001 use a different, but almost identical set.

Sure.

Cut holes and do some custom work to make the idiot lights line up, or swap to a RD1 guage.
