Tanks are about 14 gallons. and when you hit the red part it is about 10 gallons. At least that how it seems to work out on my 01.

I've squeezed 14.55 galons into my car before nana.gif I guess I was seriously running on fumes. Middle of nowhere, hoping to find a gas station and finally did. Guess I was lucky. I'd say we're somewhere between 14.5 and 15 gallons for a tank (if you can squeeze a little more above the fill-line - I'm guessing the factory spec doesn't include gas filled to the tip of spilling over)

I would assume all RDs would have same exact gas tank size, not sure why they wouldn't.

You can't compare how far you can travel "on a tank of gas" but you can compare gas mileage fairly accurately.

Start out with 2 tanks filled, drive XXX miles, fill up again. Divide XXX miles by the XX.XX gallons you fill the car up with (amount used in trip) and you have your gas mileage. I calculate mine everytime I fill up.

i've never seen any number over 12.5 gallons for mine. i've even driven it where it was empty and filled it up, started the car and it almost died cause it hit that air pocket in the gas line. but i've never seen anything over 12.5 gallons.
