If you are having trouble with your locks below 40 degress... which is still above freezing.. you might need to lubricate the lock tumbler mechanism. I do not know what Hyundai recommends, but most makers seem to prefer graphite.

hey, that's what i do if i don't have de-icer. what the hell else are you gonna do? i was at work and i just closed up, was the only one there, everything else around me was closed and i had to get into my car..but the locks were froze!

I had that problem, but all you need is a can of WD-40 (w/the straw) and spray it in there.

That should do the trick as well.

This has happened to me about 10 times this winter, But Ive gotten smarter so I put some DIKE and oil In my lock.
