I'm having trouble replacing the fog light bulbs of my Tib, they doesn't really come out as the main ones, or the turning ones, but main problem is that since my car is so low (the bumper is like 15 CMs from the floor) i'm unable to check the bulbs mechanism and plugs, i've disconnected the power wires and of course, took the cover off, so, are there hooks as in the main lights? or is there another method, since i've tried anything with my hands without success, hard to make it out without seeing what you're touching.

On my RD2, the fog light bulbs are held in the exact same way as the main headlight bulbs. Screw off the plastic cover, then pull off the plug and unhook the metal clip that holds in the bulb. It's a real pain since you can't really see what you are doing, but I got it after about 15 minutes of cursing.

 

My car is lowered and I have to jack up my car to be able to get under it..I gotta change out my bulbs too but been too lazy to do it.

 

yup, it is a b****. just be persistant, its the same as the headlights.

jacking the car up a bit would definately help, but BE SURE you use jackstands.

 

thats what u get for lowering ur car laugh.gif i have replaced mine on my RD1 and it was real easy, except mine were glued shut, and i dont think that they were suppose to be, havent had a problem with my RD 2 cuz well i dont drive it...

 

Done, a mirror helps when you can't get your head there, so you know at least what are you touching-
