Default Fit 2003 tiburon injectors in my 2000 tiburon

Hey guys, new to the forum. I was wondering if there was a way to fit the fuel injectors from a 03 Tiburon into my 2000 Tiburon. Simply changing the fuel rail from stock to the 03 style won't work. Is there one that will or is there a bracket I can buy to make this work?

2003+ injectors need more pressure to open then the pre 2001.

Why do you want to do this swap?

2003 injectors are 190cc iirc
2000 injectors are 250cc

I've read the 03 injectors give better fuel economy and fuel atomization and tested the atomization first hand. The injectors from the 2000 Tiburon are more of a stream whereas the injectors from the 2003 are more Coned and misted. In my experience better atomized fuel gives you better horsepower and better fuel economy. Where did you get your information? Just for future reference...

Shouldn't be much difference if you are grabbing then from a I4. If you're trying to snag V6 injectors, that's a totally different motor buddy. Just stick with beta 1&2 injectors.

Looks like I'm going to have to fabricate my own little adapter for them the beta 2 injectors are shorter than the beta ones I'll post a picture when I get them put together

The Beta 1 injectors have 250 written on the side. I believe the Beta 2 injector also has the size listed on the injector.

The Ecu will be able to adjust for the injectors in closed loop. But at WOT it will be running 24 percent leaner.

Juanra is right about the Beta 2 running higher fuel pressure. I believe they had something like 48.5psi instead of 43.5.
