what is the best "bang for your buck/best performance, i was debating between these two:

K&N FIPK part #33-2753 http://www.knfilters.com/FIPK/fipk.htm my auto store quoted me at $53 for this
or..

yeah right. dont hold your breath.

AEM best performance, but expect a hefty price tag with it. i wouldnt say its the best bang for the buck. the ebay knockoffs may not give as much hp, but are 1/8th of it.

Last time I talked to AEM (it has been awhile) there were no plans for a V2 cause of the sensorts.

just buy an AEM CAI.... K&N filters are ok... but they aint a CAI thats fo sure

Exactly, the K&N part quoted is only a filter, you will still have all of the stock airbox restrictions. You will eliminate that if you get a CAI and if you have the money go with the AEM.
