I am a big fan of loud cars, especially Lambos, but I think some people take the aftermarket exhaust noise stuff too far.
Exhibit A: A perfectly loud Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SV with an aftermarket exhaust that is absolutely deafening. There is a point where the car must be almost a quarter of a mile away and it is still unbearable.

Mein gott. I would not mind listening to that all day, I don't even like supercars that much, but that's a ridiculous sound.
Loud exhausts are fun, but I've finally crossed the 'old man' threshold, I can't deal with owning them anymore... Freeways are killer. I ran my X3 with an open header for like 6 months after the exhaust got ripped off on a bush trail.

But hey, I'm really not offended by loud exhausts. As long as they sound good.
