exhaust sound
I heard from one of my civic ricer buddies you can make your stock exhaust sound real deep and have a real nice muscle tone to it without buying anything..and you can do it yourself...he did it on his civic..he wont share the secret with me...anyone have any ideas?
Cut open the stock muffler, remove all the bs so its just dead air, weld back together laugh.gif
But he has a honda, so he probably removed cat and resonator lol..

Oh it definately sounds like a BIG FART when you get on the throttle on those cars but it does make them sound a little deeper in tone though. The deeper tone is more evident at idle though than when the pedal is mashed. Tibu97 you're wrong dude, I didn't say anying about removing the muffler, when they remove it along with the cat and resonator (straigh pipe), that's when you get the FARTIEST sound in the world!! wink.gif

our cars meaning 2k tibs! the rd's sound great except their engines aren't loud at all. the rd2's have a deep tone to their exhausts. i'm guessing muffler tips of somekind. i might (and probably am) wrong.
our cars aren't loud enough stock. this should change for me this wednesday heheeee =)
