Exhaust Question (muffler swap and resonator addition)

Alright exhaust geniuses, I have a question.
I've got the SS Autochrome 4-2-1 Header, 2.25" catback piping to a CLA (knockoff) muffler... no resonator. Basically, my car sounds like CRAP. It buzzes like a pack of bees and just sounds terrible. I want to swap the muffler to an ApexI NA one and put the resonator back on. I was curious if that will make a difference in sound....
the NA muffler would be smaller in size than the muffler I have now.

dope new sig..just noticed it haven't been on in a while...
as for the muffler i've got one that i just took off my car it's 2 tip...sounded nice as hell on my car (stock except for the muffler) but it's not in the best condition.......probably wouldn't be what your lookin for on yourbling bling ride.
